If the resolution is passed as written, following the advice of the progressive group Just Economics, the city would pay a minimum of $11.35/hour without health insurance or $9.85 with. Meanwhile, famous local media personalities are trying to stir the pot about city employees making close to six digits during what the public suspected was a season of wage freezes.
