Meds for Cops

September 29 will be “National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.” Hendersonville’s daily reports:

The Drug Enforcement Administration has partnered with local law enforcement agencies in western North Carolina to give the public an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by safely disposing prescription drug medications at designated locations.

Citizens are encouraged to trust their drugs to the Asheville Police Department, just like they did their guns during gun buy-backs. If you follow the logic, it makes much more sense to have drugs and such in the custody of a leaky evidence room than in your own home.
