The Watauga County Commissioners, in conjunction with the county’s Economic Development Commission, is interested in turning the old high school into a business park. More data is required to convince leaders this makes economic sense.
The idea, EDC Chairman Keith Honeycutt said, would be to create a space in which interested businesses could come in and start “turning dirt” within 30 days.
