The Jackson County Commissioners are considering an ordinance that would regulate barking dogs. Some residents say the noise drives them crazy. Dog owners counter they have lived the country life for a century or so, and they should not have to bend to newcomers. Ronnie Bryson said people who stay at home during the day listening to dogs barking need to get a life. Frank Clayton observed those who want an ordinance to silence dogs are making more noise than the dogs.
