Yo, Politicians

On the downside, there is still that element that likes to send local celebrities around to look at problems, talk about them, and then make another program that will never work. [Hint: People are not pawns in need of a suzerain. They do not want you to hold their spirits in bondage so you can hold them up as your poster children.]

    More clarification is in order. Remember that pop-psy book, “Games People Play?” There was a chapter, as I recall, entitled, “George Is an Alcoholic, You Know,” about a naggy wife who bragged to all she knew about what a sniveling, weak thing her husband was and how he’d be lost if it weren’t for her magnanimous efforts. Guess how George reacted?
