Of the many groups and factions facing high stakes in the upcoming presidential election, there’s one you probably haven’t read about that has a very personal interest in who will be sworn in come January — and that is the oft-forgotten high school marching band demographic.
The Asheville High School band was the only school in North Carolina invited to play a special sit-down concert at the inaugural festival, and, depending on which president’s inaugural committee is elected, they could march in the inaugural parade, as well.
